Bathroom Countertop
Help!

I can never seem to keep the bathroom counter cleared off. Any suggestions?
Thanks. Betty from Battle Creek

Hi Betty,
Make just a few small changes and you'll see an instant improvement. Give the following two steps a try.

    1ST STEP: THE SETUP

    • Buy two shoebox-size plastic boxes.
      • Fill one box with only the cosmetics that you use daily. Keep the lipsticks and eye shadow separate in small boxes and use a small cup to hold mascara, eyeliner, and powder brushes.
      • Put your hair blower, curling iron, and styling brushes in the second box.
      • Place the two boxes out of sight but within easy reach under the sink.
    • Reorganize the medicine cabinet. Store only the grooming products that you use every day. Keep all the extra supplies in the linen closet.
    • Place only tissues and a decorative item on the counter and you've transformed your bathroom.

2ND STEP: NO FUSS, NO MUSS

    • Set up a two-minute daily routine.
      • Each morning, immediately return the toothpaste, facial moisturizer, and other grooming products back into the medicine cabinet.
      • Hang up the towels or toss them in the clothes hamper.
      • Place the two boxes on the counter. After you put on your makeup and fix your hair, just pop the boxes back under the sink.
    • During your weekly houseckeaning, take a couple of extra minutes to straighten any little clutter culprits that have cropped up.

Hope this will be helpful.
Joyce
