    1ST WEEK: MAGAZINE MAKEOVER
    • Daily Anticlutter Routine: Check purse/pockets-toss trash and put receipts in a special receipts envelope (1 minute).
    • Pickup Project: Stop magazine clutter (30 minutes).
      Display current magazines in one spot, stack past issues you plan to read in a big pile, and set up a recycling area. Immediately rip out articles to save and drop them in a To Be Filed folder.
    • Quickie Cleanup in the Kitchen: Fix up paper/plastic products (15 minutes).
      Stack by size and by type: freezer and sandwich bags, aluminum foil and plastic wrap, and paper and plastic bags.
    2ND WEEK: TV TIME
    • Daily Anticlutter Routine: Check purse/pockets-toss trash and put receipts in a special receipts envelope (1 minute).
    • Pickup Project: Coordinate TV info and equipment (30-60 minutes).
      Put all TV, DVD,and VCR remotes in a decorative box or basket. Place all TV listings and guides in a tray or small magazine holder. Keep a folder for cable channel listings and information about current TV shows and movies.
    • Quickie Cleanup in the Foyer: Unstuff the coat closet (15 minutes).
      Quickly pull out off-season clothes that are crowding the closet. Tidy up the gloves, hats, boots, and umbrellas.
    3RD WEEK: CREDIT CARD ORDERS
    • Daily Anticlutter Routine: Check purse/pockets-toss trash and put receipts in a special receipts envelope (1 minute).
    • Pickup Project: Keep track of credit card purchases (30 minutes).
      Label a folder for items Ordered - Not Received. Each time you place a phone or online order, place the catalog or computer order forms in the folder until you receive the items.
    • Quickie Cleanup in the Bathroom: Organize haircare items (15 minutes).
      Store all hair dryers, curling irons, and brushes in a plastic shoe box. Line up the hairspray and styling foams and gels.
    4TH WEEK: WILD CARD - TAKE A BREAK
    • Daily Anticlutter Routine: Check purse/pockets-toss trash and put receipts in a special receipts envelope (1 minute).
