- Pickup Project: Pack up and put away holiday decorations (1 to 3 Hours)
- Quickie Cleanup in the Kitchen: Refrigerator (15 Minutes)
Toss out the limp brown celery and leftovers that even the dog wouldn’t want.
2ND WEEK: UPDATE
- Daily Anticlutter Routine: Make your bed (1 Minute)
- Pickup Project: Update address book and electronic devices (30 to 60 Min.)
Check for changes on all the return addresses on the cards that you received.
- Quickie Cleanup in the Whole House: Spot cleaning (15 Minutes)
Wipe off light switches, door knobs, and smudges on the walls and doors.
3RD WEEK: LOOK TO THE FUTURE
- Daily Anticlutter Routine: Make Your Bed (1 Minute)
- Pickup Project: Fill in New Calendar and Electronic Devices (30 Minutes)
Mark down all events and birthdays. Help put the “Sorry I’m late for your birthday” line of cards out of business.
- Quickie Cleanup for Bathrooms: Tub and Shower (15 Minutes)
Keep only products you use everyday and store the extras in the linen closet.
4TH WEEK: KEEP IN TOUCH
- Daily Anticlutter Routine: Make Your Bed (1 Minute)
- Pickup Project: Organize Greeting Cards (20 Minutes to Organize)
Buy a selection of cards and file them in a box. Use index cards for categories including
Baby Shower, Birthday, Get-Well, Sympathy, and Wedding.
- Quickie Cleanup for Bedrooms: Nightstand (15 Minutes)
Clear off the top of your nightstand then straighten up the drawers and shelves.

EACH DAY
- Make your bed.
- Check your calendar and add new information.
- Immediately put away new wrapping paper, bows, and cards.
EACH WEEK
- Each Sunday check your calendar to add info and see what’s coming up.
- Need a card? Grab one from your card box. If you’re running low, add card and gift ideas to your shopping list.
- Update new phone numbers, addresses, or email changes.
