DECEMBER 2008
Welcome!
I'm sorry to say that this will be my last monthly 52 PICKUP website article. I'm taking a break for a while and looking forward to traveling and to working on new writing projects.
In the meantime, please click on the 52 PICKUP page, print out the handy checklist, clip it and then post it on your refrigerator. It includes a plan to help you get more organized by following a Daily Anticlutter Routine and by tackling a Weekly Quickie Cleanup, and a Weekly Pickup Project.
Also, don't forget that my book Help, I'm knee-deep in clutter! provides lots of easy tips to help you get your home back on track.
This website will still be open if you're having a clutter crisis and could use some quick suggestions. You can review all of the clutter tips I've offered during the last two years. Tips include getting ready for the holidays, spring cleaning, organizing equipment cords and manuals, and lots more on how to tame those clutter culprits that keep cropping up.
To find these tips, click on the Past Articles page on this website. You can click on the months in order to check the 52 PICKUP tips, and you also can scroll down to Past Solutions and choose the clutter topic that you're interested in.
I've really enjoyed writing this website during the last two years and have appreciated your questions and comments. I hope that I've been able to help you. We may not be able to control world turmoil, a national financial crisis, personal relationships, or even our kids, but we can make a difference in our own home. By adding some organizing routines and taking a few extra minutes each day, we can be more efficient and can create more order and beauty in our home and in our life.
Good luck with your clutter culprits!

WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONQUER SOME CLUTTER?
Are you overwhelmed with monster messes or could you just use a little help fixing up your home? You're not alone. When it comes to clutter and housecleaning, we're all struggling. Fortunately, we can do something about it.
If you're pressed for time or not realy ready to jump into a huge project, why not just fix up a few small problem areas each month? Does this mean that your home will suddenly be perfect? Nope. But if you systematically work your way through your house one step at a time then each month you'll notice that you aren't tripping over quite as much clutter and that things will seem to be more organized and running smoothly.
- 52 PICKUP offers suggestions for following one new Daily Anticlutter Routine each month, a weekly Pickup Project, and a 15-minute Quickie Cleanup. At the end of the year you will have fixed up 52 problem areas and will have a lot less clutter and chaos. If you're just clicking in for the first time then consider this the start of your New Year or catch up with the rest of us by checking out some previous 52 PICKUP cards and doing a few extra each week.
